The Freedom to Read and Write: an Evening with Ellen Hopkins

DPL is excited to host bestselling author Ellen Hopkins, as a part of our 150th Anniversary celebrations!

Ms. Hopkins will speak about her writing process, the challenges of taboo topics, and censorship. Followed by a Q&A session and book signing.   

Ellen Hopkins is the award-winning author of fourteen NY Times bestselling young adult novels-in-verse, two middle grade novels-in-verse, and four novels for adult readers. She currently holds the not so enviable title of "Most Banned Author in the US."
