Master Gardener Open House

Master Gardener open house at the Library. 

Come celebrate with the Macon County Master Gardeners at our community open house! Explore our beautiful demonstration gardens, enjoy three hands-on mini workshops (with a fun take-home kit included!), and see the difference gardening makes in our community!

Whether you're curious about gardening, looking to grow your skills, or thinking about becoming a Master Gardener Volunteer, this is the perfect chance to learn, connect, and be inspired! All ages are welcome.

The open house will be held at the Decatur Public Library on the 2nd floor in the Children's Auditorium from 4-6 PM on November 13.
The mini workshops will be held during the following times:
4:30 - 5:00: Houseplant Propagation
5:00 - 5:30: Microgreens
5:30 - 6:00: Winter Seed Sowing
